At Grace Hill, we know that it takes more than a single program, person or organization to truly make a difference in the lives of St. Louis families. At our place-based community hubs, we bring all available resources together to work in collaboration with the neighborhood for a stronger, healthier future. Grace Hill Settlement House’s team delivers programs based on research and best practice approaches around these hubs that offer on-site connections to our services and partners.

The Water Tower Hub in St. Louis’ College Hill neighborhood is a one-stop shop for Head Start, community development, job training and financial services – right across the parking lot from a state-of-the-art Affinia Healthcare Center.
The Patch Hub in South St. Louis also brings together education, economic and community development services in one location. Early Head Start and Head Start slots are offered at this location, while the conjoined Patch Neighborhood Center offers comprehensive older adult services including food insecurity initiatives such as daily congregate meals and monthly commodity food boxes, health screenings, social events, and a benefits assistance program. The Patch Hub is also home to Grace Hill’s food and clothing pantry, which provides needing families with thousands of pounds of food and goods each year.
